Product Description

• Active Ingredient: Leuprolide acetate 11.25 mg.
• Mechanism: It is a synthetic hormone that initially stimulates, then suppresses, the pituitary gland's release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), ultimately reducing the production of testosterone in men and estrogen in women.
• Administration: It is a depot (long-acting) formulation administered as a single intramuscular injection by a healthcare professional, typically every three months. It is not for self-administration. 

• Prostate cancer: Manages advanced prostate cancer symptoms by slowing the growth of cancer cells dependent on testosterone.
• Endometriosis: Helps reduce estrogen levels, which alleviates pain and other symptoms by shrinking abnormal uterine-like tissue growing outside the uterus.
• Uterine fibroids: Used to reduce the size of non-cancerous growths in the uterus and manage associated anemia and heavy bleeding.
