Product Description
Mechanism of Action:The medication works by blocking a specific protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which normally stimulates the growth of new blood vessels. By inhibiting the formation of a blood supply to the tumor, Bevatas essentially "starves" the cancer cells of oxygen and nutrients, thus slowing the tumor's growth and spread.
Administration:It is administered by a healthcare professional as an intravenous (IV) infusion in a clinical setting, typically every 2 or 3 weeks. It should not be self-administered.
Uses:Bevatas 100 is primarily used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs to treat various types of advanced or metastatic cancers, including:
Cancer of the colon and rectum (colorectal cancer)
Non-small cell lung cancer
Kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma)
Certain types of brain tumors (glioblastoma)
Ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer
Cervical cancer
Metastatic breast cancer (in some regions/contexts)

Patients should discuss all risks and benefits with their healthcare provider, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment.
