Product Description

• Uses: Azel 40mg is used for the treatment of prostate cancer, including metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC), and hormone-sensitive metastatic prostate cancer (mHSPC).
• Dosage: The typical starting dose is four 40 mg capsules (160 mg total) taken once a day. It can be taken with or without food at the same time each day. The capsules must be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.
• Important Precautions:
  • Seizures: The medication can increase the risk of seizures. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures or related conditions.
  • Pregnancy: It is not for use by women, especially during pregnancy, as it can harm an unborn baby.
  • Contraception: Men using this medication must use effective contraception during treatment and for three months after the final dose if their partner is pregnant or could become pregnant.
  • Drug Interactions: It can interact with many other medicines (including some over-the-counter and herbal products like St. John's wort).
