• Blocking the androgen receptors on the cancer cells.
• Preventing androgens from binding to these receptors.
• Disrupting the signals that promote cancer cell growth, which can slow the cancer's growth and may cause it to shrink. 

• Dosage: The usual recommended daily dose is 160 mg, typically as two 80 mg capsules once daily, with or without food.
• Side Effects: Common side effects include fatigue, hot flashes, and high blood pressure. Serious side effects like seizures and heart problems are rare, and monitoring is required for patients with a history of these conditions.
• Pregnancy and Fertility: Enzamide is for men only and is not safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Men must use effective contraception during treatment and for three months afterward.
• Monitoring: Regular blood tests for liver function and PSA levels are needed during treatment.
