Product Description

• Active Ingredient: Enzalutamide (160 mg)
• Therapeutic Category: Anti-cancer medication, specifically an androgen receptor inhibitor
• Uses:
  • Treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)
  • Treatment of non-metastatic CRPC
  • Used in combination with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for hormone-sensitive metastatic prostate cancer
• Mechanism of Action: Enzalutamide prevents male hormones from binding to their receptors on cancer cells, which stops the growth and can cause the cancer cells to shrink or die.
• Administration: It is an oral tablet taken once daily, with or without food, as advised by a doctor. Tablets should be swallowed whole; they should not be crushed or chewed.
• Target Patient Group: Exclusively for use in adult men. It is not recommended for use by women, especially those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, due to the risk of harm to an unborn baby.
